Perdidos en Honduras – 16th edition of Spain’s most beloved reality show. 15 episodes, 92 days of wild life in Cayos Cochinos for the 17 castaways of the 2018 season. The presenting duo was confirmed: Lara Alvarez, queen of the island, and Jorge Javier Vázquez, tireless leader from the Mediaset studios. Airing on Telecinco every Thursday to great audience acclaim.
Videe handled the live broadcasts of the prime-time shows (gala) and the programs "Conexión Honduras," "Tierra de Nadie," and "Ultima Hora," as well as 24/7 filming, editing, and the challenge games between contestants. The setup included two flight-case control rooms—a main and a backup—plus a 15 m jimmy jib, underwater, remote, night cameras and camcorders, signal control stations, audio capture, and lighting equipment.
For post-production, Videe provided storage servers, ingest stations, logging, and editing facilities. The transmission system for international and local links between sets and technical areas consisted of a network of microwave radio links, terrestrial and submarine fiber optics, and DSNG flight-case units. Power continuity was ensured at all production sites via multiple generators and UPS systems. Videe also handled all logistics for shipping and customs clearance of the equipment.
