INSIDE THE ACTION WITH EVS XT-VIA
OBX features one of the most advanced replay systems currently available: the EVS XT-VIA ChannelMax. The four onboard servers ensure extremely precise image control and smooth management of live content, including Super Slow Motion and Ultra Slow Motion. Each unit supports up to 6 UHD channels and over 12 HD channels, offering outstanding operational flexibility even in the most challenging productions.
The system is complemented by EVS tools such as IP Director, XFile3, XT Access, and Multireview, optimizing every stage of production and enabling highly efficient workflows.

OBX is designed to deliver outstanding image quality for both live and recorded productions. Shooting relies on the Sony HDC-4300, an advanced broadcast camera with native 4K sensor, wide BT.2020 color gamut, and full HDR support.
A key feature is the Sony HDC-4800 high-speed camera. Thanks to its 35mm global shutter sensor, it enables slow motion up to 8x in 4K and 16x in HD, delivering highly detailed images with a cinematic look.
The result is a more immersive, dynamic, and realistic visual experience, even in the most demanding live environments.
DOUBLE CONTROL ROOM WITH SPACIOUS MODULAR AREAS
One of OBX’s strengths is its internal layout, designed for maximum comfort and operational efficiency.
The unit features two independent yet fully integrable control rooms: one dedicated to host broadcasting services and one for unilateral productions. This setup provides exceptional flexibility, including the option to use the entire space as a single large production area for top-tier events.
The environment is fully configurable and designed for crew well-being, with indirect RGB LED lighting, customizable air conditioning, and air purification systems.
OBX can accommodate up to 36 operators simultaneously.

THE OBX PROJECT TEAM
OBX is the result of a project developed by Videe’s R&D department in collaboration with Chromaline, an experienced broadcast system integrator.
Chromaline handled executive development, site management, and full system integration, contributing to the creation of a highly innovative and cutting-edge OB van.
HIGHLY INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS
Every aspect of OBX has been designed to enhance operational experience and crew comfort.
The unit features an advanced home automation system, adaptive LED lighting that follows natural light, and fully customizable zoned climate control. The air recirculation and purification system ensures a consistently healthy environment, with full air cycles every 30 minutes. Interior outfitting was designed by Tomassini Style, with a strong focus on ergonomics, design, and functionality.
