For the third consecutive year, San Vito al Tagliamento hosts "Il Piccolo Violino Magico," an international competition for young violinists aged 9 to 13. After careful selection, 16 participants from four continents compete on stage, accompanied by two orchestras: a string chamber ensemble for the first round and the prestigious Mitteleuropa Orchestra for the final. They are judged by a panel of internationally acclaimed violin professionals and masters. Numerous side events also engage the public and offer deeper insights into the competition.
Videe handles the filming of the competitors’ arrivals, rehearsal sessions, backstage, semifinals, interviews with participants and jurors, and the side events using ENG crews, lighting kits, and boom microphones for audio capture. For the final in the auditorium, Videe provides a multicamera OB Van, Pro Tools software, and XDCAM support. Post-production of the docufilm is carried out on-site with multiple editing stations and a team of editors under the direction of Andrea De Bortoli.
