The program traces the last 40 years of Spanish history, from the advent of democracy, through the voices of its citizens—the true and authentic protagonists. Each episode summarizes the key events of one of these 40 years and includes, in addition to direct and personal testimonies, previously unseen archival material, clips from films and TV shows, as well as the music of the time.
