Videe brings the spectacle of the sea to the screen for Barcolana57

B57 is a show again this year! In Trieste, under the direction of OBX, we delivered the double broadcast production of the Barcolana regatta: international live streaming and a live studio for RAI. A record-breaking edition, with over 1,800 boats, 15,000 participants at sea and 400,000 people on the shores of Trieste. Arca SGR is the regatta winner for the third year in a row!

By combining an IP infrastructure with RF equipment, we managed the A/V signals coming from the fleet, the helicopter, cameras positioned at the Molo dei Bersaglieri and on Monte Grisa. This system allowed us to cover a very large and crowded race course while maintaining high TV output quality. Spectacular shots, numerous interviews and live graphics helped tell the story of the event in an engaging way. Since the early 2000s we have worked with Barcolana to bring the great spectacle of the sea to everyone’s screens.
